Wow!!!
On Monday I was in the local Charity store and picked up a project in progress called "A Mother's Heart" by Bucilla. Unfortunately the threads are not there but I think I can match what's on the cloth with DMC. I'll probably wash it before I start as it's a little dirty and I do wish people would NOT leave their needle attached to the cloth. I think it is not in the picture but if it is I will stitch a flower over the top. Then, today (Wednesday), I went into the Habitat for Humanity Charity store and found a plastic leaf file full of charts and uncompleted items for $10 and another pattern for $1 of Christmas Candles in patchwork. It's not as though I need any more but when you find something like that you've got to take a chance.
Being curious out loud
Just a curious thought here-- when did Aida become pronounced AID-uh so consistently? In the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s AID-uh and
ah-EEE-duh (like the opera) were both acceptable, but the latter was more common where I come from. For some reason, not anymore. Hmmm.

Lost my mojo for sewing
We have been sorting out our guest/ day room for redecorating. This is where I keep all of my cross stitch supplies. Suddenly Iβm feeling very overwhelmed with how much cross stitch supplies I have! Iβm going to be sixty next and Iβm never going to get to sew everything. Iβm feeling a little down and overwhelmed.

Color
Hello,
I was wondering about the gray around the owl, is that just in the photo or is the pattern that way?
Thanks

Kreinik Custom Corder - Like to embellish your cross stitch? You need this!
I saw this corder demonstrated in class on Saturday. Oh so easy and cool! I just got mine from Amazon for $27. That's more than I would like to spend at the moment, but since Mr. Kreinik just retired, I thought I should get mine sooner rather than later. I was so inspired by the cross stitch finishing class that now I want to make a navy blue/neon green cord to go around the design. I'm spray painting the tin with diamond glitter. The instructions are attached. I don't have extra hands to help so I'm attaching the ends to curved nails in the wall.
GOOD MORNING - What's on your mind TUESDAY
Good Tuesday morning everyone. Walnut brownies for breakfast later this morning sounds good and then it's mopping the kitchen and bathroom ceramic tile. I hope the weather cooperates and it doesn't rain. I switched 5 of the 10 flosses for the Betsy Ross sampler with some specialty flosses and I'm liking the effect. I know I'll be ordering more of the sapphire blue linen cloth, too. It has an antique look to it. Have a good Tuesday!
