Pupdate! 🐺 Five critically endangered American Red Wolf pups were born at our off-site facility and are growing fast. The adventurous 5-week-old pups have started to venture out of their den with mom close by. The 3 male and 2 female pups are the latest success in recovering the only wolf species found solely in the United States. With an estimated 20-22 Red Wolves remaining in the wild in eastern North Carolina, we are doing everything possible to restore this critically endangered species.
